This customer had just purchased their home in Delbarton, West Virginia when they called Reed’s Sprayfoam Insulation in need of upgrading their new home’s crawlspace.
What challenges did we face?

Solutions provided:
The earth of the crawlspace was sealed with a 30 mil liner that is treated with an antimicrobial finish that protects against mold and mildew growth on or under the liner.
Then the foundation walls were insulated with 2 nominal inches of closed-cell foam. This will act as a continuous seal on the liner.
The rim joist was insulated with 4 nominal inches of open-cell foam.

Lastly, a dehumidifier was installed in the crawl space along with a crawlspace access door. Acting as a finishing touch on the crawlspace encapusulation.
