The customer had old fiberglass and cellulose insulation in his home that has not held up over the years. It had gotten wet and sagged/settled, no longer an effective as an insulator of his home. He was also experiencing some water problems in his crawlspace. He contacted us with an interest in replacing the old insulation in his attic and crawlspace with spray foam insulation.

The customer contacted us for an evaluation, because he was experiencing some issues that pointed to insufficient insulation in his attic. The attic temperature gets extremely hot during the summer months and is very drafty during the winter months. He also experiences high power bills.

The customer contacted us wanting to upgrade the insulation in his attic area. His home in uncomfortable at times, and he’s also wanting to make his home more energy efficient and save on heating and cooling his home.

The customer had some water issues in the crawlspace, which led to mold growth. The customer also had old fiberglass insulation that was sagging and no longer effective. The customer experiences cold floors in the winter time and often musty, earthy smells at difference times of the year.

This previous customer reached out to Reed’s Sprayfoam Insulation to insulate a new construction summer home after seeing the effects of insulation in their home.
