Vaulted ceilings by norm pose a difficult challenge when it comes to energy efficiency, the pitch of the ceiling typically leaves little room for insulation to go in between the ceiling and the roof, and in some cases there are vents leading outside from these ceilings which allows energy to escape straight outside. Using spray foam, our team was able use the most out of the small space allowed by the vaulted ceiling. This foam was not only able to create a higher rated R-Value to the space, but also create an airtight space, preventing internal temperatures to escape.
