Completion date:

2019-07-01

Location:

Hurricane,

WV

Why did the customer contact us?

Customer contacted Reed’s Waterproofing and Foundation Solutions due to having excessive mold and the issue of moisture in their crawl space was destroying their fiberglass insulation under their house. Causing not only odors but also the risk of energy escaping through the crawl space.

What challenges did we face?

Solutions provided:

Our crew lined the earth with a high and low density reinforced liner treated to protect and prevent future mold and mildew growth. The foundation walls were then insulated by our sprayfoam division with 2″ of closed cell insulation to act as a continuous seal for the liner. A high efficiency crawl space dehumidifier was then installed into the crawlspace and drained to the sealed sump pump system. Lastly, the crew installed an access panel to prevent air from entering the crawl space when not in use.
