Why did the customer contact us?
This customer from Barboursville, WV had a tiny crawl space that was retaining water, building up mold/mildew and causing damage to the homeowner’s house. To solve this issue, the customer reached out to Reed’s Waterproofing and Foundation Solutions.
What challenges did we face?
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
Solutions provided:
Our crew lined the earth of the crawl space with 12 ml of liner, reinforced with an antimicrobial finish that protects against mold and mildew growth under the liner. We also insulated the rim joists and foundation walls with open and closed cell foam, creating a continuous airtight seal to the liner, preventing any form of leaks. With that, the crew installed a smart drainage system to the rear of the crawl space, keeping any more water from entering the area, as well as a dehumidifier and encapsulation door to prevent moisture from building back up in the area.
