The customer had concerns about his crawlspace. Upon inspection, we found that it already had a heavy-duty liner laid down across the entire area and on the walls above grade. It also had proper drainage installed which includes a sump pump. The crawlspace has a dehumidifier in the space. The crawlspace was in need of a mold treatment to the wood surfaces of the crawlspace and is in need of perimeter air sealing insulation.

The customer recently moved to the area and purchased this home, which was in desperate need of better insulation. The customer’s goals were making the home more comfortable and energy efficient at the same time.

The customer contacted us to inspect the attic area, as it had never been insulated. The customer complained about high power bills and extremely warm temperatures in the summer.

This customer reached out to Reed’s Sprayfoam Insulation with water entering their crawlspace, not only causing moisture issues but also ruining the existing insulation within the area.

The owners of this new construction addition project wanted to invest in the best insulation possible. They had compared the costs of spray foam and tradition insulations, and although the cost of spray foam was more, they knew it would pay off in the end, because they would see greater energy savings and their home would ultimately be healthier and more comfortable.

This customer reached out to Reed’s Sprayfoam Insulation after making several energy-efficient updates to their home (changing the HVAC system, installing new lights, and going for an energy-efficient washer and dryer). All of these upgrades still left the individual with a $400 power bill monthly so they called Reed’s to help find a solution to his problem.
