Our crew removed the old insulation and replaced it with 4″ of open cell foam as a means to not only insulate the structure, but also provide a 94% efficient air seal for the space. Then, the walls were insulated with the same insulation, completing the air seal as well as yielding an R-Value of 15+ for the area. After the project was complete, we made sure to reach out to the airport to see how the “Reed’s experience” was for them and we were told “Everything went well and the crew did a fine job”.
