• Comment: I just had Reed's Foam Insulation Service done in my attic areas. All went fairly well,
  but they did have some problems with the vacuum hose stopping up frequently with the blown in insulation, it is understandable.
  I have a few comments for them to really consider to help them.
  1. On any flooring in the attic, cover it to protect that flooring, even
  if it is just nailed scrappy boards. This could be pieces of cardboard or other that could move
  with the operation of the foam application.
  2. Clean the foam fragments on the attic floor (sheet rock ceiling of room below) and joists.
  This would be the better without too much work but don't over do it, if #1 above is not done.
  3. When a portable blower is used, fashion a flex long hose of just a bit smaller diameter
  and fix a extension cord with a flip switch to turn unit off and on to go with the operator of
  the hose. Example: Take end of hose to end of wall with switch in hand, then back up as you work.
  I am not criticizing any of the workers, they did a decent job with what they had to work with.
  All have good personalities and work great.
